Kathy D. Griffin
She currently serves as the Assistant to the Pastor, along with fulfilling the ministerial responsibilities and duties for the Class Leader, Congregational Care, Bereavement, and Worship and Liturgy ministries.
Before coming to Brown Memorial, Reverend Griffin served on staff at Union Bethel, Brandywine (MD); Cowdensville (Baltimore, MD) and Allen Chapel, Washington (D.C.).
Throughout Reverend Griffin’s servant ministry, she has birthed numerous ministries including Street Ministries, Evangelism Ministries, School and College Ministries and Cancer Care Ministries.
Reverend Griffin currently serves as an Instructor for the Washington Conference Board of Examiners. Rev Griffin is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) and National Certified Counselor in the State of Maryland. She earned a Master of Divinity (MDiv) Degree from Howard University; Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Troy State University; Master of Science (MS) from Loyola University Maryland in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with an emphasis in Pastoral Counseling; and Bachelor of Science (BS) from University of Maryland.
She is also a proud Lifetime member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated.
Rev. Griffin is grateful to God for allowing her to mother His precious gift, her daughter – Samantha Olivia.
